The SMILES project organised a dedicated session on islands at the IALE 2025 European Landscape Ecology Congress, held from 2–5 September 2025 in Bratislava, Slovakia.
The session, 1E – Islandscapes: from Biodiversity to Ecosystem Services, was organised by SMILES to focus on issues related to insular ecosystems.
