Marilena Stamatiou, a PhD student of the Open University of Cyprus and researcher at the Terrestrial Ecosystems Management Lab of OUC completed her Short-Term Scientific Mission (STSM) at the University of Bari Aldo Moro, Soil, Plant and Food Sciences (DiSSPA). Through the STSM she received training on analytical and statistical methods relating to dataset process and assessment in the context of environmental research, focused on small-medium island ecosystems, enriching the work and current knowledge of COST SMILES.
